Hunger

I have seen hunger in our world

Children crying just for bread

Hunger causing pain and death

Food is our mainstay

It’s not so far out of our way

To help those in need, and pray each day

That our world will come together

And find a way to over come

This thing called hunger

In our twenty-first century

Let us start anew

For the sake of the children

We must make sure, they have a good future

Join forces, and make it happen

So it will be, something of the past

No one needs to know

The suffering of this thing, we call hunger.
