I know that you wish I wrote “real” books (i.e., books for six-year-olds) and that I would spend less time on e-mail, on the computer, and doing “book stuff.” But I want you to know that you provide constant inspiration, a wonderful reprieve from my work, and that your energy and excitement about the world around you is truly magical. You are my best friend and my whole reason for being. I promise in the future to try to stop saying that I’ll play with you “in a minute,” spend less time working on the computer, and more time playing with my little fairy princess.
