This simple model addresses three key aspects of paper folding:

• Edge-to-crease valley-folding

• Forming sharp points

• Keeping multiple layers of paper registered while folding

We also introduce three new symbols:

• “Fold X More” notation

• “Turn Over” arrow

• “Repeat” arrow

The Kite Base is quick to make, so take the time to achieve perfection. You will need eight Kite Bases (see page 8) of the same size.
