Kyoko has been a lifelong, enthusiastic, international ambassador of origami, having served the national organization OrigamiUSA in many capacities for decades. She and Shigeo have personally nurtured countless folders and artists by attending their events and purchasing their art and publications. This unwavering support was essential to our becoming professional origami designers, authors and teachers. As a former Suzuki Method violin teacher, Kyoko knows well the importance and effectiveness of guided practice in any art.
