Here’s what you will need to create the projects in this book:

• Your amazing fabric scraps! Pieces of all sizes and shapes will be perfect for the blocks in this book.

• Patterns, transfer paper, and pencil or water-soluble marker. You can find all patterns at the end of the book.

• Sewing needles, thread in different colors, and pins

• Sharp scissors

• Ruler and rotary cutter

• Tiny buttons, beads, and cross-stitch thread in different colors for decorative touches

• Embossing tools (1.2mm and 1.8mm) for characters’ eyes

• Paintbrush for face details

• Textile paint in black (or dark brown), white, and red for detail work

• Water-based pigment ink pad (I recommend a rose color) for blush on faces
