I am a spiny hedgehog

I wear sharp needles on the back

To protect yourself from predators in the forest

But, my friend, I will not offend you;

I stock up for the winter so as not to freeze

Such as: berries, mushrooms, different roots my treat

Tell me how you look for mushrooms,

Or ask dad to tell you?
