MANIPULATION OF THE MIND...WHO'S IN CONTROL?

Оглавление

To begin your expedition to revolution your life we must first and foremost, need to understand the complexities of the subconscious mind. In all of my research, the individuals who have mastered the law of attraction provide specific information relative to procedure, but comprehending the performance of your subconscious mind is the essential component. One must fully recognize its capabilities to produce successful results. Failure to comprehend the fundamental principles could return negative results; therefore, I will provide the necessary procedure to understand the function of the subconscious mind, how to change your paradigm, eliminate negative behavior and produce positive results. If you attempt to apply the remaining processes without making the necessary changes within your self-image, you will fail to produce the successful results you desire.

Let me provide you with an example of a personal experience in which I had to redirect the mind of a child right before the teenage years. The parent had already manipulated the mind of the child to where emotion was non-existent and suppression was so severe that there were no social skills whatsoever. Abuse was evident and abandonment followed. So think about what that had done to the child: having a parent physically harm you then give you away in the precious moments of life would leave you with a sense of distrust and result in lack of emotion.

Getting the child to comprehend why their thought process was the result of having no friends, no communication skills, and the cause of depression was the first step. However, changing what had been impressed into the subconscious mind needs constant attention. The child continually reverts back to the original conditioning and the only way to make progress is through repetition. Each day I watch the child go back and forth attempting to change, but the old paradigm keeps surfacing.

After many months of teaching, repetition, and auto-suggestion the positive began to surface. Upon departure for a business trip, the anticipated simulation of what I normally receive in the way of hugs and kisses was different. The usual turned into the unusual - I received an embrace of the heart, a kiss with meaning, and a genuine 'I'll miss you' look. New beginnings!!

Whether applicable to chemistry, physics or mathematics, there are basic principles in life. They do not differ from the principles of your subconscious mind. Research has shown that the ability to bring into action the subconscious power has determined the success of all the great scientific and research workers. Sir Isaac Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation: Every object in the Universe attracts every other object with a force directed along the line of centers for the two objects that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the separation between the two objects.

Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity and mass-energy equivalence is his most famous equation E=mc2. That equation, written in that form, immediately suggests the possibility of converting small quantities of mass into large quantities of energy. He wanted to explain the existence of mass, of matter. Simply put: our entire existence. There are different forces that govern our universe scientifically. Examples of two of these forces are the force of gravity, which holds planets together, and electromagnetic force, which hold tiny particles like atoms together. The development of his Theory of Relativity is one of the most groundbreaking scientific breakthroughs of all time.

What is the Law of Attraction?

Everyone’s perception of the law of attraction varies. In basic summary, what you put out there is what you’ll get back and when you get it back it will be more powerful - positive or negative. It is a metaphysical “New Thought” belief that “Like Attracts Like.” It is visualization, meditation, spirituality, quantum physics, and energy flow. Scientifically, it would be conceived in the areas of “energy” and “quantum physics.” Quantum physics is a branch of science that deals with discrete, indivisible units of energy called quanta as described by the Quantum Theory. It shows us how we are part of one continuous energy field that we affect with our thoughts...literally creating matter out of light energy. It suggests the probability that universal energy waves have intelligence.

It is a universal truth if you drop an object from the top of a building it will fall to the ground.

It is also a universal truth that matter expands when it is heated. You can heat a piece of steel and it will expand regardless of where it is in the world.

It is a universal law of action and reaction – your thought is action and reaction is the automatic response from your subconscious mind, which corresponds with the nature of your thought.

Be careful what you think about!!

Your conscious mind is the one that makes choices, or ‘the reasoning mind’. Your subconscious mind accepts what is impressed upon it or what you consciously believe. It does not reason like your conscious mind.

"The subjective mind is entirely under the control of the objective mind. With the utmost fidelity it reproduces and works out to its final consequences whatever the objective mind impresses upon it."

- Thomas Troward

Your subconscious mind is often times referred to as your subjective mind. It takes cognizance of its environment by means of the five senses;

 Visual,

 Auditory,

 Kinesthetic,

 Gustatory,

 Olfactory.

Your subconscious mind cannot differentiate positive from negative - good from bad; therefore, it will accept your suggestions without controversy. It is the soil in which you plant the seed. With that being said, you must realize that the main function of your conscious mind should now be to protect your subconscious mind from negativity. Make this your goal and attempt to turn negative statements and behavior to positive. Let me give you an example that someone taught to me in order to put that theory into perspective.

Let's assume that you have a garden out back and you are continually cultivating it...removing the weeds, watering and feeding it. Now, a friend with a negative outlook comes to visit and presents negative feedback relative to your garden. Even though you thought it was looking great and you were producing positive results, the negativity you received has subconsciously created worry and doubt. Therefore, as soon as you allow that to enter your subconscious mind, you are creating additional negativity. You must learn how to block out negative displacement and replace it with positive perception. It is very difficult to redirect or prohibit it when it originates from a personal or business associate. Again...know and understand that getting the anticipated results means planting the correct seeds in the subconscious mind. So many times our intention is to plant flowers, but it results in manifesting rocks. Someone once explained it to me like this: your intention is to own your own business and become a millionaire, but you soon start complaining about 'being broke' and owning your own business is 'too difficult'. There you have it...you planted a flower and manifested a rock!!

Why is it that our perception varies so much from person to person? You can place two people at the same seminar; interview both of them afterwards and their perception will be complete opposite. There are numerous documented cases relative to that theory. Two sons…with the same alcoholic and abusive father; one grew up to be on drugs, be alcohol dependent and in and out of prison; while the other grew up to be a wonderful family man with a great career, who never had an alcoholic beverage. In an interview they both stated that the reason they became the men they are was due to their father’s upbringing? So, do you see…one, blaming the father grew up to be just like him, while the other learned from the father’s mistakes to grow to be the opposite.

Changing your paradigm (which is your 'thinking model' - your thought pattern), your self-image, your subconscious mind...is a very complicated task. As previously stated, your subconscious mind accepts what has been impressed in it. When we were born, our subconscious mind was empty…all of us starting out the same. Earl Nightingale's “The Strangest Secret”, talks about the statistics of one hundred men all starting even at the age of 25 and by the age of 65, only 1 will be rich. Think about that…what happens to most people throughout their lives? Through the course of our lives so many things were impressed into it (e.g. the media, our parents, friends, etc.), so, it is very difficult to change it….what we have come to believe…we believe. It returns what it knows. If you experience fear, worry, or doubt relative to finance (e.g. poverty, bankruptcy…) your subconscious mind will surely deliver it.

Also, what most educators fail to inform you is when you discover the required steps to change your subconscious thinking, you must mean it. If your actions are not faithful, your subconscious recognizes the false pretense and you’ll attract additional negativity. You must learn how to trust in the power, erase negativity, and apply the principles. This is why most people do not believe in the law of attraction and prevent achievement of their goals. The majority of people believe that repetitive conversation in a positive manner produces instant results. However, if the underlying part of your subconscious mind continues to believe your old habits, it is imperative to alter your thought process.

Relative to the previous explanation that I’ve provided, let’s walk through the process to alter your habitual thought process. It is the greatest challenge you’ll ever encounter and you MUST realize it will transpire, but you can’t discontinue the process if you are unable to obtain instant results. It is significantly challenging compared to the resistance of breaking a bad habit. It is not merely shifting your thought processes, but also altering your vocabulary.

Comprehension of ‘key’ words toward positive change is imperative.

Thinking back to your childhood: whatever has been planted into your subconscious mind is so commonly known to each of us; therefore, how do you determine what really is right or wrong in comparison to the teachings of the law of attraction?

How many of you have experienced negative phrases such as:

 “You can’t…”

 “You’ll never amount to anything…”

 “You’re going to be bankrupt…”

 “You’re going to get sick…”

 “Money doesn’t grow on trees…”

“Money is the root of all evil…”

Those are all negative impressions that have been planted in your mind in the past and will cause behavioral patterns leading to failure in your personal and professional life. Replace those phrases with positive ones, such as:

 “I can…”

 “I will….”

 “I am successful…”

 “I am wealthy…”

 “I am healthy…”

 “There is enough money….”

 "Money is good..."

 “I love myself….”

As adults we encounter negative comments on a daily basis; therefore, the task of change is extremely difficult. The most challenging scenario for me to comprehend is encountering a frustrating situation and prohibiting it from ruining your day. There are hundreds of examples; however, just to name a few…

 Upon waking in the morning you stub your toe;

 You notice your car has a flat tire just as you are ready to leave for work;

 You wake up with an interruption in your electric;

You encounter a driver that creates road rage, etc.…

It is very complicated to redirect frustration from your mind, but utilizing the skills in NLP and relaxation therapy produce significant results. The combination of their therapeutic value provides education to acquire the ability toward tranquility. Mastering the tools and techniques for relaxation allows you to apply the necessary steps toward autosuggestion. The attempt to calm your body and mind opens the channels toward redirection. I created an internal motivation for the application of the process by realizing the importance of change. It is normal to internally challenge the validity for a positive outcome; however, reinstating the wonderful qualities you will possess will assist you in your endeavor to master the elimination of anger, negative behavioral patterns, undesirable conversation and unnecessary influence.

Trust me….it is factual.

So, how do we incorporate the relaxation techniques with redirection of our thoughts and actions? I previously mentioned hindering factors to support negativity, but you need to provide displacement for it. Therefore, when the negativity appears you must immediately recognize it.

An example of a relaxation technique:

 Now, you must relax…

Inhale very slowly through your nose,

Hold it as long as you can,

Then exhale through your mouth very slowly,

If you are in a relaxed setting, close your eyes and feel your body unwinding…from your head to your toes,

Repeat the breathing exercise 3 times concurrently,

Continue to talk to yourself to soothe the tense parts of your body,

Reaching the tranquil state, start accentuating positive thoughts and dialog,

Repetitively verbalizing positive words and phrases to counter the negative,

Once you complete the relaxation process, affix a pleasurable moment in your mind. Think of a time in your life where you encountered a pleasant experience…one that made you very happy and produced a positive, happy feeling….then capture it. Repetitively replay that scenario and when the time comes that you start experiencing negativity, fear or anxiety, replicate the entire process again. Repetition is immensely important! You can implant positive suggestions throughout the day to begin the dominance of encouragement. For instance, if you are seeking abundance, you should continually repeat the words ‘wealth’ and ‘success’.

An important note: common sense is realizing if you are driving a car or in a setting where you are unable to engage in the relaxation exercise, you can nevertheless perform the breathing exercise and reinstatement of positive conversation. That is why we recommend the relaxation technique to be done while at home and in a relaxed atmosphere. You can never attempt to engage in any type of relaxation in a dangerous setting (e.g. driving, work, public setting, etc.). You should also take the time to purchase a hypnosis cd or download for MP3 and listen to it upon retiring to bed. Even if you fall asleep, the subconscious mind will continue to receive the suggestions.

Let’s discuss indecision, doubt and fear, which are the origin of most everyone’s problems. Indecision is the seedling of fear; indecision crystallizes into doubt; and the two blended together become fear…fear being the most crippling. There are six basic fears. The fear of…

 Poverty

 Criticism

 Ill health

 Loss of love of someone

 Old age

 Death

There are also seven major negative emotions (to be avoided at all costs). The emotion of….

 Fear

 Jealousy

 Hatred

 Revenge

 Greed

 Superstition

 Anger

Positive and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time; therefore, one must dominate. It is your responsibility to have the positive emotions be the dominant. There are also seven major positive emotions. The emotion of...

 Desire

 Faith

 Love

 Sex

 Enthusiasm

 Romance

 Hope

Allow me to give an example to calm anger in the event that you encounter road rage. Now, in an office setting we use NLP where relaxation methods are utilized and incorporated with anchors and dissociation techniques. However, as previously stated, they are inapplicable in social settings or while driving a motorized vehicle. So, a QUICK solution would be to divert your attention to a positive thought. Think of the numerous aspects in which you are grateful for at that moment. Faced with anger you may question what you have to be grateful for at that particular time:

Well, you have the physical and mental health to be able to drive,

 You have a vehicle to drive;

 You have an anticipated point of arrival;

And then…take a look around…is there someone with you in the car you can be thankful for?

I could go on with examples. We can all find ways to be grateful. Stop and really contemplate that the next time you are upset or angry. Look around…

What and who do you have in your life to be thankful for at that moment?

 How beautiful is the day?

Think about how much worse your life could be at that very moment,

Then think about why you are angered….is it really worth it?

Will the display of anger correct the situation?

 Will it eliminate your frustration?

Fear, worry and doubt are the most crippling and they are linked to all aspects of failure. They linger in your subconscious mind to create the ‘domino effect’ and they are most commonly associated with poverty. Certain fears are associated with multiple scenarios.

You will hear it explained as

 False

 Evidence

 Appearing

 Real

Try to think of it as something beneficial…something you need. Don’t think of fear as your enemy, you actually need it to grow.

Each failure is a trial in an experiment and an opportunity for growth.

So, acknowledge it, identify the source for creating it and examine it objectively.

Let me give you a quick example of how I eliminated my fear of heights and flying. I was in a relationship with a pilot who owns a vintage aircraft restoration business, so I definitely needed to overcome my fear of flying. We owned a WWII Boeing Stearman bi-plane and in case you’re wondering what type of plane that is…it is an open cockpit plane. My first step was to apply the technique of imagining a happy moment in my life and each time I would anticipate the fear of the flight, I would close my eyes and picture that moment. Well…climbing into that WWII open cockpit bi-plane and flying 3500 ft. over the mountains would send my emotions through my body and would place me in a severe state of anxiety. Performing that visionary technique just wasn’t enough so I then started to redirect my mind toward the pilot’s responsibilities. I began to educate myself on flying and then when I felt confident enough in what I had learned, the pilot would allow me to take the controls while we flew. He would continually communicate with me on the headset. Preoccupying my mind with focus on the plane and safety helped to alleviate my negative thought process.

I then started a debate with myself about the airplane:

I would continually convince myself of the ratio between aircraft and motorized vehicle accidents. Even if you are a safe and cautious driver with excellent driving skills, you must still contend with heavy traffic and inexperience. Those multitude of risks are not probable in the air.

I began to recognize safety features of the plane and affix in my mind the competency of the pilot, who was also the restorer.

I also started to focus on the beauty of flying and being grateful for the beautiful earth below me.

So, do you see how I utilized the combination of the techniques to redirect my mind from negative to focus on positive?

With relaxation therapy and NLP you learn to pay very close attention to the client’s actions, which causes awareness in all daily encounters. Becoming attentive to outside conversations and stimuli between other individuals allows you to observe the amount of negativity exhibited. When you encounter negative conversation make the attempt to use words of encouragement to alter or redirect and try to turn the subject to that of a positive nature. Even within your own self, when you feel worry, doubt or fear starting to appear, replace them with positive affirmations. Never use the word ‘can’t’, ‘won’t’, etc. Subsequently, you’ll pay close attention to behavioral patterns and you’ll acquire the ability to distinguish negative language. Repetition and the desire for change will assist you with your endeavor for positive transformation.

Now that you comprehend the power of the subconscious mind, the beginning of changing your paradigm (self-image), and the influence of positive dialog, you must now incorporate positive affirmations. You need to create a goal card that you will read aloud once every morning and once every evening. You must create a relationship with the Universe, God, or Supreme Intelligence….(whatever your belief). You must be very definite in what you write. Let’s use the example that you desire abundance. It is essential that you have the exact day you desire the money, the exact amount of money and what services you will render in return for it. Remember, you must also be grateful…and mean it!

I will give you an example of a statement of gratitude that should be continually repeated (especially in the morning and evening):

“I am so very happy and grateful for…..” (remember all the small things...they become big things). It should be a list comprised of at least (minimum) ten items. You need to do this every morning and you can change them each day. Maybe something happened the day before and it needs to be gratefully acknowledged. It becomes a pleasant experience and makes you stop and be grateful for the things we so often take for granted.

The following is an example of what you could write on your card, but fill in the blanks to correspond with your situation. This comes directly from Napoleon Hill's book, "Think and Grow Rich."

“By the ___ day of _____________, ____, I will have in my possession $, which will come to me in various amounts from time to time during the interim. It will come to me in ever increasing quantities, through multiple sources, on a continual basis. In return for the money I will give the most efficient service of which I am capable, rendering the fullest possible quantity, & the best possible quality of service in the capacity of _____________________.

I believe that I will have this money in my possession. My faith is so strong that I can now see this money before my eyes. I can touch it with my hands. It is now awaiting transfer to me at the time, and in the proportion, that I deliver the service I intend to render in return for it. I am awaiting a plan by which to accumulate this money, and I will follow that plan, when it is received."

That is Hill's example; however, if you have your complete dream/vision/goal clearly defined and written out you can condense what is written on the goal card. Make it clear so that if someone else were to read it they would have a clear vision of your goal. Condensing it makes it easier for you to memorize and each time you say it or touch it your clearly defined goal (dream) will come to mind (visualize it). Make it clear and detailed within your mind.

Example of a condensed goal card:

Date @ top: _____________, ____

I am so happy and grateful now that I am a ______________________ which operates globally and earns me a revenue of a minimum of $_______________/month.

It is imperative that you remember ‘your subconscious mind never sleeps.’ That is why you should say your card before retiring to bed each evening. Additionally, with relaxation therapy & meditation, the session is recorded and a copy is provided to the client so they can listen to it before they go to sleep. All suggestions are implanted into the subconscious mind even if you fall asleep. Realize the power of suggestion and utilize it to the best of your knowledge.

In my research and education, I was taught to write a card, make positive affirmations and eliminate negativity, but no one ever fully explained the fundamental principles of the subconscious mind. Comprehending the positive words to implant, discovering how the subconscious mind works, utilizing relaxation/meditation techniques, eliminating negativity and interpretation of what to place on the card need to be applied simultaneously. Presently, I’ve only impressed a very small amount of knowledge; however, I anticipate this to be the beginning of your interpretation of what is manipulating your mind and who is in control.

Now, let's discover the difference between creative and real...
