When I was seventeen, I traveled to Europe on the Queen Elizabeth and experienced Hurricane Carrie, which made us two days late getting into port. I was on my way to boarding school in Lausanne, Switzerland, where I spent a glorious year learning French, meeting girls from all over the world and traveling through Europe on holidays.
