Preface

Оглавление

Many deserve special thanks for contributing to this project. Aaron Burk encouraged me years ago to attend seminary, and this dissertation is the culmination of those studies. Greg Stiekes and Dr. Michael Barrett were instrumental in directing me towards Central Baptist Theological Seminary, and in challenging me to think deeply and seriously about Scripture. My interest in Paul and the law began in Dr. Jon Pratt’s class on the same topic, and I appreciate his patience in reading many of my papers on this topic and now finally a dissertation. Special thanks also go to the faculty and students of Central Baptist Theological Seminary for encouragement and challenge throughout the doctoral program. I am grateful for my brothers and sisters in Christ at Faith Free Presbyterian Church for their constant interest, encouragement, and prayers for my studies. Your labor was not in vain! I am also grateful to Dr. Charles Barrett and Geneva Reformed Seminary for the opportunity to finish this dissertation while employed as a member of the Resident Faculty. I do not know how I would have finished it otherwise. Special thanks are due to my parents for taking me to church, and introducing me to the things of God. Finally, immense gratitude is due to my wife, Beth, and my children, Ben and Grace. Your patience, encouragement, and support have meant to the world to me.
