Nocto was busy polishing the ghost scooter.

He could hear Squibbly moaning and howling.

“He’s not trying very hard,” thought Nocto.

He stopped polishing and went into the attic.

He wasn’t very pleased with what he saw.

Squibbly had recorded his own howls. Now he was playing back the tape while he had another sleep.

Nocto turned off the tape player. Squibbly woke up with a start.

He was just about to give Squibbly a good talking to when …

“It’s my Ghostfax!” said Nocto. “Now where did I put it?” Nocto was always losing things.

He went through all the pockets of his ghostsuit. He looked in things.

He looked under things.

At last he found it.

The Ghostfax was already printing a message.
