Wolves belong to the same animal

family as dogs. While most dogs

are tame pets, wolves are wild

animals. Wolves are excellent

hunters. Their long jaws are full

of sharp teeth, and their narrow

bodies are strong and fast.

Wolves are social animals. This

means that they prefer living in

groups, called packs. Between two

and eight wolves make up a pack,

though some packs are larger.

The members of the pack hunt,

travel, and even play together.
