Chapter 11

Stix saw that Jamie had tried to call her. She didn’t pick up. She believed that if he was with Bambi, he should respect her by giving her his full attention. Stix really had accomplished what she set out to do—get Jamie in bed. She had thoroughly enjoyed it, and she knew that he had too. Initially, Stix was intrigued by Jamie, but there was something a little off balanced about him. Stix couldn’t quite figure it out. Anyway, he would be good for a roll in the hay every now and then. Right now, Stix had other things on her mind. Her cousin Lee was coming to visit. They were getting ready to party.

Lee was coming in on the Grimaldi jet. Lee and Stix had been business partners since they were teens. Even though Lee was a sex therapist and Stix was a renowned author, both of them had a passion for music. They began writing songs at an early age. Several of their songs had been picked up by famous performers and had won Grammys. Both of them played several instruments. They would often get together and have jam sessions. Music was a pleasant diversion from their real jobs.

Stix and Lee had been very successful in their side career. They had made millions. Those millions were just the icing on the cake. They both were born into the wealthy Grimaldi family. After his death, Stix’s father had left her sixty million dollars, and with what she earned on her own, she was a billionaire. Lee wasn’t quite as rich as Stix. Lee’s father was still alive, so she hadn’t received an inheritance yet, but she was still a very rich woman.

Both of them loved life and enjoyed everything that money could buy. Stix had decided long ago that she would never marry. She didn’t want to share her money with any man. She was building a legacy for her future children. And she tried to keep her finances secret. Very few men knew exactly how rich she was. She wanted men to like her for who she was personally, not for her wealth.

She spotted Lee coming toward her. She looked as pretty as ever in her bright blue dress that matched her eyes. Stix knew by the way her dress clung to her body that she had on no underwear. Lee only wore underwear when it was that time of the month. She was perfectly comfortable without it. Stix tried it once. It didn’t work for her. Knowing that she was so exposed under her dress made her extremely nervous.

After hugging, kissing, and giggling, Lee asked, “Where are we going first? I know this basketball player who is having a party tonight.” Lee was like that. She knew about things going on in Stix’s city that Stix didn’t know about. “I guess we are going to the party then.” Stix laughed.

And what a party it was. Everybody who was somebody was there—celebrities, basketball players, and politicians. There was good music, great food, and free drinks. Of course, Lee knew everybody.

Lee introduced Stix to this fine man. He was tall, dark-haired, with broad shoulders and a tiny waist. You could tell through his shirt that he worked out. His name was Kevin, and he was an accountant.

Damn, he’s fine, thought Stix. Stix spent the rest of the evening talking and dancing with him.

There was always a crowd of men around Lee. They loved Lee’s free spirit. They also loved the fact that she wore no underwear. There was a competition on who would be the lucky one to partake of Lee’s sexual skills. Lee flirted with as many men as she could. One in particular caught her eye. His name was Michael. He was a doctor. One of the head doctors at the clinic. Lee decided it might come in handy to have a doctor friend in Cleveland. You never know when you might need mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. He appealed to Lee too. He had on a crisp white shirt and an expensive black suit. And he wore glasses. For some reason, that was a turn-on for Lee. She loved men who wore glasses.

Lee imagined him with his clothes off. She didn’t have to imagine long. Before he knew it, he and Lee were in one of the many rooms in the mansion, enjoying the king-size bed. It was a good thing the music was loud because the doctor was screaming with joy. Lee’s goal was always to make them scream. That always put a smile on her face. Lee would always say she was doing research for the sake of her profession.

Stix really liked Kevin. They exchanged phone numbers. Stix wanted to take him to bed, but not until they went on a date or two. Stix couldn’t be as free as Lee. She wanted to get to know a little more about Kevin.
