His Word is His Image
ОглавлениеDon’t make it complicated. It is what He said it is. Watermelons don’t sometimes taste like apples nor can you plant an apple seed to get a watermelon. Everything produces after its own kind. Do your kids look like you, maybe your spouse or there grandparents? This is a law. It is simple Jesus said that the sower sows the word. This is part of seed time and harvest, who ever sows the word sparingly shall reap from the word in the same manner.
What words have you been sowing or saying? And what do you do with the Word that has been sown into you. Let me send you on a blind date. The person that you are meeting will be at a round table at the restaurant on Main St. Downtown. Good luck right? Well, hold to that image in your mind. Date number two you will be meeting at 6:00 PM Thursday at 711 Main St. they will be sitting at table # 2 wearing all white. You are more likely to connect with the intended individual with the vision or image given in date #2.
Here is the difference, the image that you have of the first date is like your vision or revelation when you have no faith in the word given. You won’t even want to look for the promise or the desired result He sent his word for. You cannot possess anything unless you receive it. As for the second date everything is much clearer because you have received the word therefore you kept your ear open for instruction, you heard the details then acted on the word given therefore prosperous or desired result.
To receive the Word is to go with the grain not to receive the Word is to go against the grain. When He sends his word you don’t have many options. Take it, receive it and ask that it be in your life according to his will. Ask for wisdom on the matter. It is well stated in his word that he who asks God for wisdom shall receive it if he has faith. Don’t ask of God with a question mark. Saying Lord, if it be your will, can you heal me or send wisdom? He has not given his word for ifs.
The word is not and was not given for negotiation it is what He said it is. Do not dilute his word with your lack of faith.
Mark 4:13-14
And He said to them,“Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So leteach one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
Mathew 7:7-8
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
James 1:5-6
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
