We’ll go for the great Reformation—

For Lincoln and Liberty too!

With the East and the West linked together,

Our candidates never can fail,

For the weight of a slave a’nt a feather

When freemen get into the scale.

For “Protection” the party will rally,

“Free homes for the homeless” as well,

Then we’ll hear every mountain and valley

Ring forth to “Free Trade” its death-knell.

Then up with our banner so glorious,

The star-spangled red-white-and-blue,

We’ll fight till our flag is victorious,

For Lincoln and Liberty too!
