THE COLT

Оглавление

Table of Contents

The colt kicked his heels in the air

And rolled in the dew,

As dandy and devil-may-care

I went out to woo.

Hock-deep in the mire and the muck

He stood in the rain,

As dowly and down on my luck

I crept home again.

My heart when I set out to woo

Was a colt in the sun,

But a drookit and draggle-tailed screw

When the wooing was done.
