Designing an Experimental Study
ОглавлениеOne goal of experimental research is to determine the relationship between the IV and the DV. Less bias in terms of demand characteristics related to both the participant and the experimenter aids in creating a logical relationship between the IV and DV.
There are an additional four factors that are critical to sound inference (Figure 3.7). These are as follows:
1 Participant selection
2 Participant assignment
3 Design of experiment
4 Interpretation of relationship of IV to DV
