The next morning Mama buzzard is waiting impatiently on the edge of the nest.

“Ben, aren’t you done cleaning your feathers yet? I already see some mice on the ground. Remember everything I have told you. Watch the mouse carefully. Fly towards it. Slow down right before you land, spread your wings and flex your claws! Then grab the mouse with your claws!

So... let’s go!“, Mama buzzard says.

Ben jumps up on the edge of the nest next to his mother. Mama buzzard takes off and Ben follows her.

His flying isn’t very good yet. He thinks about his mother’s words:

“I should watch the mouse carefully. then fly towards it, slow down right before I land, spread my wings and flex my claws. Then grab the mouse with my claws. Mee-eeh!“

Then Ben sees two mice! He instantly dives towards them. To land he spreads his wings and flexes his claws. But right before he lands he sees how one mouse fearfully hides its face with its paws.

The other mouse escapes into a mouse-hole. But what else is there?

A small ladybird is sound asleep. What will Ben do next?
