Cloe and her family are awakened early the next morning. They hear a high pitched whistling.

Who could that be? The little groundhog Gertie wants to pick up her friend Cloe to play.

“Cloe, you sleepy-chamois. Time to wake up...“, Gertie calls.

Grandma is upset:

“Gertie, do you have to wake everyone up with your whistling like that?“

“Oh, Grandma chamois, I didn’t know that you were still asleep.

You know how I like to whistle“, Gertie answers sheepishly.

After breakfast Cloe and Gertie go out to play.

“Mehehe... we will be back this afternoon“, Cloe calls out and yodles into the valley:

“Snowcapped peaks, cold air and wind, mountains I’m your friend.“

Cloe’s echo answers her.
