The implementation with 5G in conjunction with IoT technologies and AI routines will inimitably spell a significant change in the entire prospect of directing and managing industrial robots at large. First of all, it is essential to consider that these robots can become “smart” and become part of the IoT infrastructure when fitted together with sensors working based on highly sophisticated AI software routines. This will allow them to work based on achieving better output as they have been directed (Duan and Wang 2015). However, 5G connectivity is required to ensure that these industrial robots can perform different batches in terms of instantaneous communications. This brings forth the projection of “cloud robotics” and indicates all the necessary developments and facilitation needed to produce4 the advent of such an advanced communication network technology at large.
