3. “How many autistic people are there?”

In the United Kingdom there are more than half a million autistic people. That’s one person out of every one hundred people, possibly even more. We don’t know how many autistic people there are in the whole world because some countries don’t have a record yet. However, we do know that autism is more common than a lot of people think.
