It includes four chapters, covering laboratory safety, food sampling, microbial enumeration, and an exercise in practicing the knowledge gained in the previous three chapters. This part also serves as a review of techniques and applications covered in introductory microbiology courses. Students will execute basic exercises that will help them recall and sharpen the skills gained in previous microbiology courses.
