How did China manage to overcome the coronavirus epidemic in such a short period of time, and how frank was Beijing providing information about the scope of the disease?

This book includes a series of academic essays and was written at a time when the global pandemic had not even entered its final stage yet. Therefore, it is challenging to give a complete and consistent picture of the situation. The main task was to show how China responded to economic, social, political and epidemiological challenges in 2020.
