• Aspirin, 325 mg tablets

• Albuterol inhaler (1)

• Epinephrine, 1:1000, 1 mg (3 ampules)

• Ammonia inhalants (10)

• Diphenhydramine injection, 50 mg/ml (2)

• Nitroglycerin (unopened), 0.4 mg (25)

• Glucose tablets, 4 g (1 package)

• Glucose gel, 15 g (2 tubes)

Airway Devices

• Oxygen tank and regulator

• Reserve tank or 2nd O2 source

• O2 extension tubing

• Double-ended male adapters

• Nasal cannula

• Non-rebreathing masks

• Paper bags

• Oropharyngeal airways (set of 6 or 7 of various sizes)

• Pocket mask

• Bag-Valve-Mask, adult

• Bag-Valve-Mask, child

Other Devices

• Automated external defibrillator (AED)

• Syringes with needles, 3 or 5 cc, 22 ga × 1”

• Stethoscope

• Analog blood pressure cuff, standard adult

• Analog blood pressure cuff, small adult or adolescent

Note 1: Some dentists prefer to administer epinephrine with an auto-injector (e.g., EpiPen®). Purchase two adult doses of 0.3 mg each AND two pediatric doses of 0.15 mg each.

Note 2: During a heart attack, up to 50% nitrous oxide, 50% oxygen administered via a nitrous oxide unit is an acceptable alternative to a narcotic for pain control.
