ОглавлениеCustom privacy allows you to combine the Specific Friends and Friends Except options. From one window, you can decide who gets to see something and then exclude others.
Privacy is a way of controlling who can see what, but the easiest way to measure it is not in counting the number of people who can see something. If you have a huge friends list (and many people do) does the difference between something being available to 500 people or 1,000 people or 1,000,000,000 people matter? Well, maybe. The way to measure privacy is not entirely numerical but also emotional. Do you feel comfortable? Do you feel safe? These are the questions you should answer when you're choosing between privacy settings.
Whichever option you choose, the next time you go to post something, that same option will be selected. Facebook assumes that most of the time you're interested in sharing with the same people — either friends or everyone — so it doesn’t force you to change your privacy each time you post.
