What do I believe is in my future now?

What you want to be in your future is not necessarily what you believe to be in your future now. So that you can see the gap between what you want and your current reality, take a look into the future: What do you believe your future will be like from the vantage point you have right now?

Ask yourself:

 What do I want to change about my future?

 What would make my life far more exciting?

 What would make me happier?

 What would make my life more adventurous?

 What would make my life more fun?

 What would make me feel fulfilled?

 What would make me feel joyous?

Write down any immediate thoughts that you have.

Example: I see myself as single, getting promoted in my career, living where I live currently. I want to get married, but when I look into my future I can’t see this yet.
