 The best place for raising Black boys in America are states with very few Black residents, including: Hawaii, Alaska, Utah and New Hampshire. In short, while having fewer African-American residents within the state does not guarantee freedom from inequality for Black boys, it doesn't hurt either ("Race for Results". p. 12).

 Avoid states geographically located within the American Rustbelt or the Mississippi Delta Region, as well as the states where large populations of African-Americans have been around long enough to be subjected to repressive policies, systematic discrimination and racist violence sanctioned at least in part by the U.S. government.
