Little Purse and Shoulder Bag with Flaps, Both in Small and Large Sizes
This design makes use of the number of squares in the patchwork pattern, with the edge of the patchwork pieces creating guidelines for easy cutting and stitching. It’s created by folding outer and inner bag pieces like origami, then matching them together. The button loops peeking out add a cute touch.

Long Tote with Floral Motifs
The fashionable long rectangular shape and ease of use makes this a popular design. Made from floral print corduroy, the flower motif on the handles and the eye-catching stitching at the motif’s center are cute accents.

Tote with Pompom
A pompom made of felt and wool creates a warm look for this bag, which is a simple design using one piece of felt fabric. As it’s made from felt, it’s not necessary to finish off the edges. The handles are crocheted from the same wool as the pompom.
Instructions on page 60
Wind wool around thick card to create pompom.
Apply appliqué fabric to the bag and stitch.

Picnic Tote (S, M, L)
As the inner and outer fabrics for this bag are both linen, it has some body to it already, but the shape is retained by using belt interfacing around the opening and a board in the base. This versatile bag lends itself to all kinds of uses.
