Oedipus frivolity

I told myself, I was a dazzling king, I'm still a dazzling king, even though I've damaged my figure completely, so that nothing and nobody can repair it At the end, Tiresias could be killed by a strike and the whole city would have still been mine. What is but to gain in this world when you feel the damnation in any cells of your body?

I came into the new world

Right after the great flood

I was condemned to deep thirst

And since then I beg for mercy

This was the second incarnation in the row

After the destruction of Atlantis

In the first one I was Cain

The one who committed the first crime

I roam the earth

And brought the art of wandering to its mastery

I saw the hills of Dionysus

The cliffs of Circe

And the everlasting plains of Pan

I followed the crowd of Zarathustra

Up in the mountains of Azerbaijan

At the beginning of this lifetime

I was the king of Thebes

But misfortune came upon me

and when I saw the horrifying acts I did

I took my eyes away with a brooch

And then I understood

That truth has such a brilliance

That when you learn to know it

You must be silent and blind.
