NATURE’S POLLINATORS
Honey bees are actually fuzzy little insects.
When one stops by a flower
to sip some nectar, pollen
gets stuck to its hairy body.
When the busy bee moves
on to another flower, it drops
some pollen from the first
flower onto the second
flower.
This allows flowers
to make seeds, bear fruit,
and reproduce.
Bees stroke their wings
11,400 times per minute!
That’s what makes their
distinctive buzzing sound.
Hooray for hairy legs!
