Complete blood count
ОглавлениеUsually, the first clinical sign of MDS is the detection of cytopenias (anaemia, leukopenia, or thrombocytopenia) in a complete blood count. For MDS criteria, the cytopenias must be persistent and under specific thresholds (Table 26.1).
