Mesenchymal Fluid, Our Driver

Оглавление

Nourishing or mesenchymal fluid is the aqueous material within which cells bathe. It is made up of fluids – around 16 to 18 litres – but also collagen and elastin fibres, as well as other distinctive substances that ensure a biochemical, metabolic and neuroendocrinal equilibrium of cells.

Across this buffer fluid the cells need to get hold of the nutrients released by the blood capillaries. To allow the nutrients to penetrate, the cells must adjust their polarity so that their membrane becomes permeable. This is how they give the signal of satiety to the brain, through a set of electric charges. Once this work is complete, the cells will modify their polarity again to cause the opposite function.
