“Yes, I understand,” Foxy said.
“How can you understand me?” the Little Princess replied, all surprised. “You‘re a fox and I‘m a human being. We don‘t have the same life experiences. After all, you live in the forest all the time; your friends are wild, and you walk on four legs. You can‘t understand how I feel!”
Foxy looked at her tenderly and let his silence answer her.
After a couple of quiet minutes, the Little Princess began to open up about her true feelings:
“You know, I‘m not happy,” she confided. “My parents aren’t either by the way, and we are all locked up in our flat, together. On TV, they talk about the deterioration of the economy...”
