ОглавлениеWhat’s Love Got To Do With It
I’m not certain exactly when Tina Turner made the song, which asked the question of “What’s Love Got To Do With It? But this question merits an answer and in this lesson I will try and set forth an answer, maybe not to your liking, but it’s how I see it. For this is a powerful question, is it not? Tina asked this question after allegedly expecting many years of relationship mental, physical and sexual abuse by her spouse. What the book and film depicted to me was not Love as I understand it to be, as I comprehend it is that Love is not puffed up, Love does not vaunteth itself, Love do not behave itself unseemly, Love is not easily provided, Love thinks no evil [I cor.13:3–5] Love is not violent, Love injures not, Love is not stressful or argumentative; Love does not destroy, or tear down, love is not vindictive, love is not a tail bearer, love is not a liar, or unjustly possessive, love is not jealous, love does not labor, love does not separate family, friends or associates, love is not a abominable If this is the way you envision love then you never really had, or knew what love really is, in my opinion. If you are in a relationship when someone is beating the hell out of you or any little provocation, slapping, cutting, burning, whipping any type of physical abuse to your person, in my opinion that’s not love. If a person demeans, bully, belittles you in any shape form or fashion or mentally, physically or spiritually, that’s not love
If a person denies you to dress as you wish, to wear the clothes you choose, to command you dress a certain way, act a certain way, talk a certain way, look a certain way, sleep a certain way, walk a certain way, this in my opinion is not love, and if it intends to change the way you are presently. And if a person is calling you out of your name and saying you are nothing, the world would be a better place if you had not been born, you are a dreg of society, you are worthless, no good, cheap, foal, you can’t never seem to do anything right, demeaning, cruelly, this is not love. If a person repeatedly are doing these things and apologizing, bringing gifts but digresses over and over again to commit these acts and actions that is in my opinion not love.
If you are constantly arguing about each and every little thing this is not love in my opinion, whether it with another or in front of others, your children, friends, family or associates this is not love but the evidence of someone out of control and need immediate help, counselling or otherwise quickly because this is not love but a path to eventual death for one or maybe both. This is in my opinion what Love is not. “They are mad. If all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or unlearned, he is certainly convinced by all, he is judge of all, and thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest. “[I cor.14:23–24] “Stand not in an evil thing; for he doeth whatsoever pleaseth him.” [Eccl.8:3] “Rejoice not in iniquity, but rejoice in truth” [I cor. 13:6] “God is in you of a truth.” [I cor.14:25] Therefore, “Let not your heart be troubled; [John 14:1] First let me say that love has no definitive definition, it cannot really be explain, it escapes categorization, however, “A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this, will all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.” [John 13:34–35]
What type of Love is this? In my explanation is a love that is not puff up, a love of language and Knowledge [I cor.13:1] Love is a belief to do the impossible [vs.2] helping the poor and needy [vs.3] Love is being able to endure under stress, pressure and oppression, while being kind and understanding, not being envious or high strung or showey [vs.4] Love won’t act immature, violently, riotous or immorally, Love don’t just seek those Love, they seek those who may not return or appreciate being loved, Love is not easily provoked, upset or antagonized, argumentative or violent, easy lead in lowliness pursuits, love thinks no evil [vs.5] Love don’t rejoice in weakness, bullying, or any such, kind, Love is a burden bearer, A strong refuge, a tower of strength, a unmovable foundation, there’s belief and hope in love, there’s endurance with Love, to bring you through the impossible [vs.7] Love won’t fail, never fails [vs.8] Love is not retalitarial [matt.5:21] Love is forgiving [verses 23–24] Love is compliant [vs.25] Adultery and fornication has no part in love for these are abominations [vs.27,32] Loves given when asked, Loans to the barrower [vs.42] Love do good to their enemies, who hate curse, dispise and persecute them [vs.44) Why? “That you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love only them that love you, what’s up with that? [Matthew 5:45–46 emphasis added] “You will love your neighbor as yourself” [Lev.19:18 and matt 19:19 and matt 22:39] But most of all, “You will love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind;” [Luke 10:27]
Love is the meat that dictates the rest of the meal, Love makes the sunshine on your most cloudy clay, Love wipes away the tears of heartache and heartbreak Love put the smile on your face when that special someone appears or is thought of, Love is that string that tears the heart into when a lover cheats or someone dies, Love is to Know, when to release and step away, love is to be patient, comprehending, Knowing, forgiving, even when not forgiven, Love is to accept thanks from the ungrateful, or those who do not say it for the things you do, listen to another passage of Love in Matthew 25:34–40
“Then will the King of Kings say unto those who demonstrate love that are gathered on His right hand, come you that are blessed or sanctioned of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from The Foundation of the World, or since the beginning of time. For I was hungry, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger or Homeless and you took me in, Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited and took care of me: I was in prison, and you came unto me, then will those that love asks, Lord, when saw we you hungry and fed you, or thirsty, and gave you drink? When saw we you a stranger or homeless and took you in? Or Naked, and clothed you? Or when saw we you sick or in prison, and came unto you? And the King of Kings, Lord of Lords will answer all those who loved by his commandment and say, in as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethrew, you have done it unto me” For “This is my commandment that you love one another as I have love you” [John 15:12] “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue in my love” [vs.9] “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends, and you are my friends, if you do whatever I command you” [verses 13–14] “and Know that all things work together for good to them that LOVE God, to them who are called according to His purpose.” [Romans 8:28] “And nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus “[vrs.39] “As it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love Him.” [I Cor.2:9] “For God so love the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVE IN HIM
Will not perish (or die) but have EVERLASTING Life.” [John 3:16]
God loves us so much, in spite of us that he sacrificed his only son (Jesus) to be a substitute for us, to die that we may live forever with him. The son’s sacrifice erased every one of our crimes that disallowed us to enter God’s Holy, sanctified presence, not because of our goodness,” “for all have sinned, and came short of the glory of God.” [Romans 3:23] “there will no flesh be justified in his sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin”[vs.20]” but God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” [Romans 5:8] “by whom also we have access by faith (or simple belief) into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” [vs.2].
In my opinion, this is what love got to do with it, especially for me, “because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. [vs.5] This is what love got to do with it, in my opinion, what about you?
