Satan’s Agenda

Оглавление

Satan’s agenda is mind control. Yours!

His two main weapons are insecurity and inferiority. These two doorways are ones which every spirit gets into your mind. Some others he uses are fear, doubt and comparison. He first began in Genesis where he uses them on Eve.

1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. (Genesis 3:1-6)

He continues to use them today, and is very successful at it. After all, he’s had over 5,000 years to perfect his “lines.”

If you are not following the voice of the Holy Spirit in your mind, and if it is not manifest in your daily activities, then Satan is controlling your mind. He was in this world at the time of Jesus and even before. He is in the world today, wreaking havoc with the Christians. He is not concerned with the nominal Christian. Nominal Christians are those who worship on Sunday, do good deeds through the churches and synagogues, praise Him with spouting His name all over the place, quoting Scripture on the various social media outlets, and then turn their backs on the needy, homeless and naked the rest of the week. These are the Christians that practice what I call Churchianity.

We are emotional creatures. This is why “prosperity” ministries and “progressive” ministries thrive. They target the emotions of their congregations. The televangelists sound like they are spouting fire and brimstone and at the end of their sermon, they throw in Jesus and the Holy Spirit to make it look like they are truly blessed by God. They use phrases like “God laid it on my heart that someone in the audience (or congregation) has a problem with their back.” Or “God told me we have a person here today that _________ (fill in the blank).” Another lie you hear more often than not is “If you send us your money, God will bless you.” They then recount how by doing the same for a period of time by sending money to a particular church or pastor they were blessed. They are playing on your emotions and they are the sheep in wolves clothing. Man has repeatedly reinterpreted and redefined the Scriptures on a lot of items; two in particular are homosexuality and abortion.

They are false teachers! They are doing the devil’s work! They are telling the people, including nominal Christians, what they want to hear and not what they need to hear. Man’s word has replaced the ultimate authority of the Word of God.

There are so many parts of the Scriptures that they do not consider pertinent to salvation, trembling before the word of God is not in their agenda. And they do not make it plain to their “flock” that they need to make haste to keep the commandments of God.

20 My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments. (Psalms 119:120)

60 I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments. (Psalms 119:60).

This is part of Satan’s agenda. He does not want people to know the truth!

How do you separate the wheat from the chaff? How do we know who to believe? A good start is in Philippians.

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8)

There are also numerous passages we can use to help us to discern the true teachers from the false ones. Peter tells us one way.

1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (2nd Peter 2:1)

Since Christ is the Word of God, the doctrine of Christ is all of Scripture. If a teacher or prophet does not abide within the confines of Scripture, he is a false teacher. They are not producing “good” fruit.

Matthew 7:15-20 and Mark 6:39-45 explains the fruits we should be looking for. They both mention “fruits”. What are the fruits? The words they are speaking out of their mouth and their actions. This is stated in Proverbs 20:11.

11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right. (Proverbs 20:11)

Even though the Scriptures define a false teacher, you will hear some amazing arguments. The people see the false teaching and still say, “Do you know the man?” or “Have you spent time with him?” Jesus did not say “You shall know them by spending time with them.” If they fail the test, they are false teachers!

Most people have the notion the fruit (good fruit) is the big ministries like Billy Graham, Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, James Dobson, Pat Robertson, John MacArthur, Paul Washer, Norman Geisler, Tony Evans, Greg Laurie, Charles Stanley, Chuck Smith, Fred Price, J. Vernon McGee, Charles Blake, Chuck Swindoll, Gene Scott, Harold Camping (Family Radio), John Piper, T. D. Jakes, David Jeremiah, Charles Spurgeon, Dave Hunt, Marvin J. Rosenthal, David W. Cloud, Perry F Rockwood, Neil Anderson, Robert Schuller, Jack Hayford, Benny Hinn, Miles McPherson, Ray Comfort, Jim Cobrae, Ron Luce, Chuck Colson, C. S. Lewis, Hank Hanegraaff, Paul Chappell, Steven Anderson, Promise Keepers and many others with all the masses following them. The big ministries with many followers are ungodly men!

14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. 16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. (Jude 1:14-16)

In today’s society, if a ministry has a large following, it is a sign of a false teacher. How much false doctrine constitutes a false teacher? The standard is “no other gospel.” It does not say you can be off on some things.

3If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; (1st Timothy 6:3)

When Christians agree to disagree over what is written in the Bible, and only the "essential" matters matter, an unbiblical simplicity resides in the mind and a deadly cancer grows in the hearts of false Christians who learn to scorn and hate knowledge. This concept is referred to as leaven in Scripture.

16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; (2nd Timothy 2:16-17)

They will become complacent, and that will destroy them.

32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. (Proverbs 1:32).

However, Christ said,

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)

It is trust in the word of God that saves, as James and Luke writes,

21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. (James 1:21)

11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. (Luke 8:11-12)

5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be 6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. (Genesis 15:5-6)

And repeated in the New Testament:

3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. (Romans 4:3)

If you are directed or led away from faith in God’s word, whatever the issue, your soul is in danger of being destroyed. False teachers create a wide theological path that supposedly leads to heaven, but in reality leads to hell; because people are led to "not receive the love of the truth"

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (2nd Thessalonians 2:10)

This allows for many who do not see eye to eye regarding a myriad of Scriptural subjects, referred to as the broad way, and it breeds complacency in the minds of the people and allows them to continue to live a lie.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

There are no Biblical issues to be agreed to disagree upon, because Scripture plainly warns,

3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. (1st Timothy 6:3-5)

This is what the false Christian world has done, strayed from the words of knowledge and followed after a broad path that leads to hell.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (2nd Timothy 4:3)

18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. (2nd Peter 2:18)

In contrast to the wide path is the narrow way is that which leads to life. Jesus did not teach there were many paths, but only one. Jesus preached about contriteness, mourning, meekness, hunger, thirst, purity, peace, persecution, anger, divorce, adultery, oaths, love, giving, prayer, forgiveness, fasting, possessions, needs, worrying, judging, rebuking, seeking, false prophets, etc. He made no distinction concerning any of the matters He addressed in His sermon. It all matters eternally to Him.

Because, heaven is for those who hear His words and do them and hell is for those who hear His words and do not do them. As Proverbs instructs,

20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. (Proverbs 4:20-22)

Believing in Jesus is believing and obeying the Bible.

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. (2nd John 1:9)

We do not need the traditions of men to understand the Word of God, the church ministers or philosophy books. If anyone should tell you this, they have the antichrist spirit and are false teachers. All we need is Christ, His Word and the Holy Spirit.

7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. (2nd John 1:7)

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: (Colossians 2:8-10)

Many teach that you can know Christ, be saved and continue to live in sin without repentance. This causes a great deal of confusion and frustration among true Christians.

4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (1st John 2:4)

Any teacher who is well spoken of is a false teacher. Jesus said,

18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. (John 15:18-19)

If you see someone who is loved by the world, you can rest assured he is a false teacher.

19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. (1st John 5:19)

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15)

How do they deny the Lord? Titus wrote

15 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. (Titus 1:16)

Satan loves it when Christians celebrate pagan holidays (holy days) like Easter and Christmas because he gets the glory, not God. When you worship on Sunday, you are worshiping Satan. It’s his day of worship, not God’s!

You hear many excuses for celebrating Easter. The main ones is it celebrates Christ’s resurrection. However, it is instead paying homage to the goddess of fertility – Ishtar! The “Sunrise Services” that take place around the country and around the world on “Ishtar” Sunday is a good example of an ancient pagan ritual.

Many of the pagan customs associated with the celebration of spring at one time were practiced alongside Christian Easter traditions and eventually were absorbed within Christianity as symbols of the resurrection of Jesus. The First Council of Nicaea (325AD) established the date of Easter as the first Sunday after the full moon (the Paschal Full Moon) following the March equinox.

The same can be said about Christmas. It is a pagan holiday, designed to worship the birth of the pagan gods and goddesses born around the 25th. There are about twelve listed in Scripture. It was originally a pagan festival to celebrate the winter solstice that occurs on the 23rd of December and to worship their pagan gods and goddesses.

You hear many excuses why the Christian community celebrates Christmas. Most people were raised with the notion that Christmas holiday celebrates the birth of Christ. They do not question why we celebrate Christmas – over time it has become a tradition – a tradition of men.
