It looks like a happy and successful month ahead, Taurus, enjoy. Your 9th house – a happy-go-lucky kind of house – is strong until the 19th so there are happy travel opportunities occurring. You might not actually travel, but the opportunity is there. Life is expansive. The horizons are widened. Students at college level should do well.

Your financial planet Mercury will spend most of the month in your 9th house – a good financial signal. It indicates expanded earnings. The only issue is that Mercury will be retrograde until the 8th so there might be delays and glitches involved in this expansion. Take more care in your financial dealings until the 8th. Read the fine print in all contracts very carefully – and it would be better not to sign them over that period. Avoid major purchases or investment decisions then. By the 13th, as Mercury re-enters your 9th house – this time in forward motion – most financial perplexities will be resolved. And earnings will happen faster.

On the 19th the Sun will cross your Mid-heaven and enter your 10th house of career. You enter a yearly career peak and much progress will be made. You have good support from the family, and the status of the family as a whole seems raised.

The Sun’s solstice happened last month. This month Mars and Venus have their solstices, around the same time. With Mars it is from the 27th to the 31st, with Venus is from the 29th to the 31st. This suggests a pause – a personal pause and a pause in your spiritual and charitable life – and then a change of direction. These pauses are healthy. Nothing seems to get done outwardly, but inwardly the ground is being prepared for the future.

The bottom half of your chart is almost totally empty. Only one long-term planet is there. So the upper half is very dominant. The focus will be – and should be – on the career and outer objectives. Home and family issues can be downplayed right now.

Thus you’re in a period of personal independence. It is a time to have your way in life, a time for creating your own happiness. You have the power to create your destiny now, to be pro-active.
