Remuneration structures
ОглавлениеBeyond the different remuneration structures of the inpatient and outpatient sector, there are also different remuneration mechanisms for material services: For medical aids, care contracts are written according to § 127 German Code of Social Law (SGB V) and for new drugs, collective reimbursementagreements are concluded between pharmaceutical companies and the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds. This agreement is binding for all health insurers and is based on the early benefit assessment, in which the Federal Joint Committee determines the presence (or absence) of demonstrated “added” benefit compared to existing, appropriate comparative therapies, to the extent that comparators exist. The pricing system for DiGA is borrowed from the pharmaceutical product pricing system: here, too, price negotiations are conducted, albeit on a different basis (see chapter 8.1 And that was just the beginning: Price negotiations).
