CHAPTER THREE

Оглавление

Stress:

Stress is the pressure of strain, anxiety, and constant worry, nervous tension, trauma, and hassle. As stated: that stress touches everyone. Demands at work, family crises, guilt, uncertainty about the future, dissatisfaction with the past all this are hard enough to put people into pressure. Life events corresponding with stress values, concerning the death of spouse, love ones, and many other 100, reasons associate with it.

Now Elijah the Tishbite said to Ahab: “The word of Jehovah came to him saying: Leave here and turn eastward and hide at the Valley of Cherith east of the Jordan. You should drink from the stream and I will command the ravens to supply your food there. 1. Kings 17.2-4.

Following is an example of stress circumstance that may associates with fear or pressure of strain: Elijah the prophet was told to leave at ones and go hide somewhere. Even though, he has nothing with him to survive; but for the sake of his health and wellbeing. The LORD will provide him with food and water; The LORD knows that he needed time out to get away from stress and anxieties. “So, he did according to Jehovah’s’ word:

Then he rose and went to Zarephath at the entrance of the city there was a widow gathering pieces of woods. He asked her “Please bring me a little water in a cup so that I may drink.” At this, she said “As surely as Jehovah your God is living, I have no bread only a handful of flour in the large jar and a little oil in the small jar. Now I am gathering a few pieces of wood and I will go in and make something for my son and me. After we have eaten we will die.” Then Elijah said to her: Do not be afraid. Go in and do as you say. But first, make me a small round loaf of bread with what is there and bring it out to me. Then you can make something afterward for you and your son. For this is what Jehovah the God of Israel says: ‘The large jar of flour will not run out and the small jar of oil will not run dry until the day Jehovah makes it rain on the surface of the ground. So, she went and did as Elijah said, and she together with him and her household ate for many days.

The large jar of flour did not run out and the small jar of oil did not run dry according to Jehovah’s word that he had spoken through Elijah. 1. Kings. 17. 10-16. The LORD will provide as he said the ravens to supply him with food there and a widow on his way was not a coincident she was meant to help him back into the city.

Following is another experience of how through stressful chaos situations Jesus disciples were bringing their ministry report back to Jesus: They were probably so exhorted and stress out from traveling around with Jesus. They wanted a break to probably get some rest, What did Jesus say to them? “And he said to them: Come you yourselves privately into an isolated place and rest up a little.
