What is God’s purpose for the earth and mankind? How has God been challenged? What will life on earth be like in the future?

God's purpose for the earth is good and wonderful. If we know what God’s purpose is for every one of us here on earth, we will work towards it and live the way God wants us to live out our life. God’s purpose for the earth is wonderful, God wants the earth to be filled with happy, healthy, loving, and caring people. It’s important to know that the image of God and his characters are of love, peace, and kindness, God said to Adam and Eve, in the beginning, to be fruitful and increase in number. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it, Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground”. Genesis 1:28,

The earth is filled with farmers and fishermen and all working men, to provide us with fruit and vegetables, fish and goods to meet the demanding increase number of peoples' needs, fathers and mothers, young men and women all working for a purpose in life. Yet we still struggle in life for our sinful nature and choices, we all know the freedom of our choices in life or choosing unhealthy choices of lifestyles, why? because God has given us choices in life to choose for ourselves, most often it's the choice of the sinful way, it's better in this world than to be obedient to God. The desires of what we want or who we want to be. The same applies to our first parents; The LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden was the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work and take care of it. Genesis 2:8-9,15. It was a beautiful perfect place and a beautiful lovely couple to be obedient to God.

Paradise on Earth: In the beginning, God created a paradise on earth, Adam and Eve were living with God walking and talking with God. The tree of knowledge of good and evil (sin) separates man from God. God’s purpose and the plan were to live on an earthly paradise. Although Adam and Eve ruined it from the beginning, our Heavenly Father Jehovah knows, how and when he will make the earth as to how he purposes it to be and how he intended it to be an earthly paradise. He sent the second Adam Jesus Christ to come to this earth so that through him this earth will be as how he intended it to be. Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purposes will stand, and I will do all that I please. Isaiah, 46:9-10. So as my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah, 55:11.

The Earth: God created the earth simply not for nothing; the earth was created and is meant to be inhabited with all kinds of people. God requires his people to live here on earth. For this is what the LORD says he who created the heavens, he is God; he, who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it: he did not create it to be empty but formed it to be inhabited he says: I am the LORD, and there is no other. Isaiah, 45:18. Meaning that there is only one God and his name is Jehovah, Jesus always directs his perspective view towards his father in heaven only one true God. If Jesus directs us to his father in heaven then that is how it meant to be our father in heaven.

The Promise Earth: God promises the righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it. "The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever. Psalm, 37:29. God is preparing new earth and a new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. Revelation, 21:2,3,4. God’s original purpose from the first book of the bible Genesis to the last book of the bible Revelation tells us that, His purpose is the dwelling of God to be with menkind.

The Opposer: The first book of the bible tells us the opposer of God showed up in the Garden of Eden. Also, the last book of the Bible identifies him as “One called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth. The first book of the Bible calls him the serpent in Genesis, 3:1. The great dragon has hurled down that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth and his angels with him. Revelation, 12:9. (Satan which means Opposer) a powerful spirit Son of God who out of his freedom of choice turned himself into (Devil which means Slander). God created the earth's foundation. God’s word said “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand.” Job, 38:4. Now the serpent was craftier than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman Eve, Adam's wife. “Did God say, “You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die?” “You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. Genesis, 3:1-5, Why did Satan said this to Eve to eat the fruit? because he knows God's perfect plans for the entire universe. In the first creation on earth, they both knew only God and everything was good, but after eating the fruit from the middle of the garden, and of course, they now know good and evil.

The Origin of an Enemy: The tree of knowledge: God said to Adam and Eve, “But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.” (Reading from Genesis 2:17). Satan the Devil caused Adam and Eve to disobey God. And because of their disobedience, God’s words came to pass and they both died some years later in their old age from sickness and death and maybe for as long as they could survive, it was a sin to disobeyed God, and since then sin continued from their time to our time, death has become a destiny for all men. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3: 23, Life was meant to be perfect with our loving Jehovah God forever and ever from the beginning, but sin separated us from the presence of God on Paradise earth. The man and his wife heard the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Genesis 3:8, Why did they hide from God? Because of their wickedness and their sins. They wanted to cover their sins and they did not want to expose their skin it's human nature the first reaction is to cover up.

Death was the price of disobedience: What God said will come to pass. The first creation was meant for Adam and Eve to be living with God listening to God and talking and walking with God here on Paradise earth. God said to the serpent and the woman from verse “14” and onwards in verse “17”, God said to Adam “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil, you will eat of it all the days of your life. “18” It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat your food until you return to the ground since from it you were taken from dust you return.” “22” Because of Adam's sin God cursed the ground but only God will make a way out from the curses. And the LORD God said. “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever. “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and this way death came to all men because all sinned.” Romans 5:12, He is God all-knowing, and what he says will come to pass. God did not tell Satan to disappear right there and be destroyed forever. God wants us to learn and know him through the good time and the hard times, know that he is the creator of all things, and the life that we have here on earth and above the heavens God is the creator.

The One True God: We could support Jehovah God as our Ruler and Satan is a liar. The worldview in our days seems that God as a liar and he does not exist. In the end, the battle belongs to God, and he has given all authority and power to his begotten Son the second Adam, Jesus Christ who will do what he will do with the Devil or Satan. After Jesus' ministry here on earth, he returned to his father in heaven. The bible mention that there was a war in heaven. The great dragon has hurled down that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth and his angels with him. Revelation, 12:9. Jesus knows that the ruler of this world is Satan; Read what Jesus said; Now is the Judgement of this world, now the ruler of this world will be cast out. John 12: 31, NWT. I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. John 14:30, NWT, Of judgment because the ruler of this world is judged. John 16: 11, NWT. Christian Apostil wrote that the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. Jesus said the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in me.

“We know that we are of God’s people, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. Satan did not create this world and yet he claims to give the world to Jesus if only Jesus would bow down to him, he is a liar; again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And said to him all these things I will give you if you will fall and worship me. Matthew 4:8,9, Jesus answered Satan with God's words from the bible. But Jesus answered him, saying. It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Luke 4:8-12, Godsons is to make God's heart glad; “my son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him who reproaches me.” Proverbs, 27:11. The bible mentioned in Revelation 4:11, you are worthy, O LORD. To receive glory and honor and power for you created all things, and by your will, they exist and were created. But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. Whose minds the god of this age has blinded. Who do you believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them? 2 Corinthians 4: 3,4.

Jesus was the chosen one: Jehovah God selected Jesus Christ to be the ruler of His heavenly kingdom or government. Jesus Christ is the King of all Kings and in fact, he is the only one mention in the Bible that he came from heaven and went back to heaven. Jesus does not have a mother in heaven but the creator father who had created him, the firstborn of all creation in heaven by Jehovah God's will. Jesus was transferred from heaven to earth. "For unto us a child is born, unto us, a son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace. There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice, from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. Isaiah, 9: 6-7, KJV. The Lord’s Prayer for us is to pray ‘your kingdom come, God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew, 6:10, In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. Daniel, 2:44, God’s kingdom will rule.

The New World is at hand!: The new earth is referring to the society of people who receive God’s approval. When the bible speaks of the earth; it means the people who live on the earth. Let’s read from Genesis 11:1. (KJV) Referring to the whole earth (people), and the whole earth was of one language, and one speech. "Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, 2 Peter 3:13(NIV). Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. Isaiah. 65:17. (NIV). Former things referring to our past sins, pain, suffering, death warfare, crimes, and all kinds of abusive life will not come to mind. The Priceless Gift of “eternal life” is a promise for the righteous “new earth” whom God will approve for everlasting life. Having to exercise our faith in Christ Jesus, wanting to know more about God through his words of teaching and taking in knowledge. God so loved the world (earthly, people) so much that he gave his one and only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John. 3: 16. Jesus prayed and said” Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John, 17: 3.

The New Earth: Imagine living on this renewed earth and one glorious day we look around us and find no more wickedness around us. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land. A little while and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy great peace. Psalms. 37: 9, 10, 11, The LORD’s promise of “great peace” for the righteous in the land.” Many will argue that how can we have peace on this earth when we look around us and see so much pain and suffering. Its faith in the unseen, God said it through his words. Faith is the assured expectation of what is hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities that are not seen. For through it, the men of ancient times had witness borne to them. By faith, we perceive that the systems of things were put in order by God’s word so that what is seen has come into existence from things that are not visible.” Hebrew. 11. 1-3. As mentioned earlier that God’s purpose and intension for the earth will come to pass as he promises us through his words. From first Adam to Second Adam Jesus Christ. To make this earth to how he intended it to be. God will make wars cease to the ends of the earth. “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalms, 46: 9-10. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their spears into pruning hooks. Nations will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Isaiah, 2:4. "The LORD’S days, in his days the righteous will flourish prosperity will abound till the moon is no more. Psalms, 72:7.

Safety and Security: With the LORD we can rest assure and trust him for our safety to live in security here on earth. “Follow my decrees and be careful to obey my laws, and you will live safely in the land. Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill and live therein. Our Safety the bible says carrying out God's statutes, “by carrying out my statutes and keeping my judicial decisions, you will dwell insecurity in the land. The land will give its fruitage, and you will eat to satisfaction and dwell there in security.” Leviticus, 25: 18-19. Read prophet Isaiah’s words “My people will live in a peaceful dwelling. Places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.” Isaiah, 32: 18. The earth will be a wonderful and beautiful enjoyable place in paradise. The land the bible refers to it is the earth, not the heavens or the moon but the land the earth.

Jesus Call: The bible tells us that Jesus will return to rule the earth and for God’s Kingdom. When Jesus returns he will not walk around the earth and call everyone to wake up from their sleep in the graveyard. He will return with God's Heavenly angels with splendor and glory“Because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice, and with God’s trumpet and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first. Afterward, we the living who are surviving will, together with them, be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Again the number of 144000, of God’s chosen ones with Jesus to rule in heaven over the new earth and the people. Bear in mind that Jesus is not returning to this earth to resurrect one person at a time from their graveyard, the bible made it clear that from heaven with a commanding call! To raise the dead and rule from the heavens over the earth.” 1 Thessalonian. 4:16-18, on that day it will be the heavenly arrangement and how God planned it to be on that day.

The battle of Armageddon: There is a battle called Armageddon; Jesus with God’s heavenly angels will destroy all who oppose God. "YHWH" Yahweh' Jehovah God will restore the earth and the people the way God intended it to be as in the days of Adam and Eve’s time to Jesus Christ's time that Jehovah God himself has set that appointed time. “Wait for Jehovah and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you will see it.” Psalms, 37:34. Jesus will imprison Satan for 1’000 years. The earth will be the earth and it will remain as the earth, as to how the creator created it to be, but there will time for its cleansing of the earth. Jesus will return from heaven to rule over the earth. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, the heavens are his throne and the earth his footstool. And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent that is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. Revelation. 20:1-3. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying. Now is the dwelling of God being with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. Revelation. 21:2-3, If we read psalms 72:1, it’s about Jesus Kingship and his rulership that he will judge the people in righteousness.

The Earth will yield its harvest: Talking about the earthly people and abundance of food supply, let grain abound throughout the land; on the tops of the hills may it sway. Let its fruit flourish like Lebanon; let it thrive like the grass of the field. Psalms, 72:16. Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us. Psalms, 67:6. You opened your hands and satisfy the desires of every living thing. Psalms, 145:16. Read how the prophet Isaiah is referring to the new paradise here on earth, with the current days' other builders built houses for us to buy it and to live in it, others plant food for us we buy it to eat from it. But what Prophet Isaiah said. They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree so will be the days of my people, my chosen ones will live long enjoy the works of their hands. They will not toil in vain or bear children doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the LORD they and their descendants with them. Isaiah, 65:21-24.

Jesus the resurrection and the life: This prophetic word brings us back to Genesis, in the beginning, God said we will toil and labor, LORD gave this vision through his prophets many years later about how he will bring the paradise to earth. The message here is for us to understand what the bible teaches us about the earth that we are in. Jesus is the Heavenly King and the Ruler of righteousness to restore the earth and the people, Jesus said I ‘am the resurrection and the life. John 11:25. He will restore life during those 1’000, years from heaven over the earth. Many who have died will return to life on earth. Even those who did not know God they will all be resurrected. And I have the same hope in God as these men, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. Acts. 24: 15. Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that was in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that was in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Revelation. 20: 11-13. “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.” John. 5:28-29. Recalling Jesus and the thief’s conversation on the cross. Jesus said to the thief today meaning that day while they were hanging on the cross and the thief will be with him in paradise. Luke. 23: 43. The thief died but he will be with Jesus on the day of resurrection when all the dead people will rise to this paradise earth.

The 1'000 years of Rulership: After the 1’000 years of his rulership here on earth, We do not know how long these 1'000 years are it could be a few hours or a few days. Then after the 1000 years. Jesus will hand the Kingdom back to His Father. Then the end will come when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father. After Jesus had destroyed all dominion, authority, and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. “The last enemy to be destroyed is death.” 1 Corinthians. 15:24-26. Meaning there won’t be death anymore; the instruction was given to the first man Adam who disobey Jehovah God, so death happened because of his disobedience, death is an enemy here on earth ever since then. But through the obedient begotten son of Jehovah God, Jesus Christ is the last Adam he will defeat death for the earth and the people, as the Bible promised that death will be the last enemy. Wow! How much have I missed out with my bible readings, never had I knew these promises before about the earth and the last enemy death? It’s a mind and heart-opening for me to realize it, thanks to Jehovah for allowing his witnessing team into my place.

God’s purpose to make the earth a paradise will be fulfilled. “For this is what the LORD says he who created the heavens, he is God; how fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty but formed it to be inhabited he says: “I am the LORD, and there is no other.” Isaiah, 45:18. “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Isaiah, 55:11. Satan now rules this world. “Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.” John. 12:31. “We know that we are children of God and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 1 John. 5:19. “The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.” Psalms, 37:29. That is the promise of dwelling in the land forever.
