Inspiration
Mush and Me was inspired by Nancy Yetzes the 102-year-old Great Aunt of Daniella. When Nancy was in her twenties she fell in love with a non-Jewish man who proposed to her. She declined because she was fearful of how her family and community would react. She has been single ever since. Nancy grew up in the East end of London and has witnessed a huge amount of change over her long life. She is currently learning how to use a computer, attends ‘Keep Fit’ classes and plays cards weekly.
