A whale that swims with its little tail. We’re going to fold the body, and then fold its flippers and flukes.
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming….

Valley fold and unfold edge to edge both ways, but don’t crease the middle. Turn the paper over.

Fold the corners to the middle.

Turn the paper over and rotate it.

Fold into thirds.

Unfold.

Fold into thirds.

Unfold and turn the paper over.

Unfold the top flap.

Valley fold.

Valley fold and unfold the flaps.

Valley fold the tip of the bottom flap.

Valley fold and unfold the flap.

Pull open the bottom flap.

Valley fold and unfold between the indicated points.

Pinch to install a mountain crease.

Use the creases you made in steps 1, 4 and 6 to fold three-dimensionally.

Raise the little triangular flaps. View from the side.

Refold the creases from step 12. Perform steps 20–25 on both sides simultaneously.

Fold the protruding triangular flap.

Fold up the flap.

Tuck the flap inside.

Tuck the triangular flap inside.

Fold down the fin.

Fold down the tail using the creases from steps 16 and 17.

Sharpen the creases along the top.

Outside reverse fold.

Spread open the flukes.

Fold the corner of the tail inside to narrow it.
