Chapter 3. The Outer Circle

Оглавление

Our ideas about life are based on experience and study. It is possible that a situation will be created in which the environment will negatively influence your conclusions about the world and human behavior. Many spiritual practices call for a change in their attitude to the external conditions of life, but is this approach correct? Is it good for your mental health? No, it is not, and this is confirmed by the very practice of life. The moment you adopt a passive attitude of acceptance of circumstances of a destructive nature, you lose the battle.

Our approach assumes that one of the characteristics of existence is the so-called «outer circle». It determines your attitude and interaction with the world. This characteristic is in a position of active existence, that is, it occupies a dominant position in relation to the one who interacts with this characteristic. The dominant thus determines your level of comfort or discomfort and the extent to which it influences you. An example of the dominant external world is the weather, which is directly dependent on it and it is impossible to influence its change in any way, but with the use of technology, as one of the elements of the world, it is possible to equalize the situation. In our case, we use an umbrella if it is raining.
