Situation


Alex meets a new team member and wants to introduce them to friends and colleagues at a party.

Dialogue

Alex: Maria, this is John. I’d like to introduce him to everyone.


Maria: Nice to meet you, John.


John: Nice to meet you too, Maria.


Alex: And this is Sarah and Tom. They work in marketing.


Maria: Hello, Sarah, Tom!


Sarah: Hi, Maria! Welcome!


Tom: Nice to meet you!


Alex: Maria, why don’t you tell us about yourself?


Maria: Sure! I’m from London and I really am into traveling.


Sarah: That’s great! We also are into traveling.


Alex: I hope you all get along with each other.


John: I think we will. We already seem to have a lot in common.
