Читать книгу Eye Contact - Lilo Keller - Страница 6
ОглавлениеForeword
It all starts with a dream; but this dream, which was given to Lilo Keller, is more than a beautiful scene that took place in her nightly thoughts. It is a night vision with a specific and biblical message which the Church absolutely must hear in this time of change. "Look at Me and know Me"— God calls to us through Lilo's dream – and that is exactly what we should do. It is the hour in which our gaze must be directed above all to God in order to recognize His ways, His nature, and His power.
As the book progresses, Lilo takes us into the message of other significant dream messages that speak directly to us as the Bride of Christ. These are extremely important calls to align ourselves with God in His plans and emotions, to faithfulness and a heightened awareness of the importance of sanctification, and to be vigilant against the temptations of the enemy. While studying the text, I was reminded of the word of Jesus that He repeated again and again, "He who has ears, let him hear!" This confirms to me the importance of what is written in this book.
All the messages culminate in the call by our Bridegroom God to sit at His feet—the place where in ancient times the disciples of a rabbi listened to the words of their master, and at the same time the place of great intimacy between man and God, as Lilo shows in the example of Mary Magdalene.
I want to encourage you to read this book with the open eyes of your heart and a very attentive spirit. Allow the messages to touch you, feel the Holy Spirit speaking to you, and in your everyday life strive to do the most important thing the Church can do today: have eye contact with God and stay close to Him above everything else.
