Chapter 3

Tammy sat in that hell hole everyday with no one to talk to; she was put in solitary confinement due to the fact that some of those stupid ass women, or should I say women wanting to be men, wanted to make her their little bitch. Tammy was in the shower minding her own business when she notice some of the women leaving the shower room, then a couple of big ugly ass women came into the shower room. The head leader of the bunch was Bertha; she was a big ugly bitch too. Bertha informed Tammy that she wanted her and that she was going to be her bitch. Tammy told Bertha to get the fuck out of her face, and Bertha slapped Tammy so hard all she saw were stars and heard the “Star-Spangled Banner.” Tammy grabbed her homemade knife out of her towel and cut that bitch across her face. Bertha will remember the day she asked Tammy to be her bitch. Okay, so Tammy got her ass whipped, but she didn’t feel that bad because the bruises will go away, but Bertha was marked for life.

The guard came in. Tammy was holding the knife, and that’s how she ended up in solitary confinement. She had been in there for two weeks, but it seemed like a month already. Well, after thirty days in the hole, Tammy finally saw daylight, and of all the people, she ended up in the cell with that big ass ugly Bertha and one of her girls. The first night, while she was sleeping, they got her and had their way with her. But all in all, it wasn’t all that bad, and after all that, Tammy became the best of friends with Bertha and her girls, especially when they found out what Tammy was in prison for. Then Tammy became one of the girls, and they didn’t bother her anymore after that. Sometimes, Tammy would volunteer to get her pussy ate. Well, there were no men around, so a girl got to do what a girl got to do.

Tammy told Bertha what Fred did to her. Bertha told her that if it was the last thing that she does, that Fred would pay for destroying her life. Bertha told Tammy that she had some girls on the outside that owed her and that she would hook something up for her; all she had to do was tell her what she wanted and how she wanted it done. Tammy asked Bertha if she had any friends that were short, thick, and dark-skinned.

Bertha said, “I have just the woman that you want.” In fact, she showed her a picture of her. “This is Tracey, better known as Fancy.” Bertha asked Tammy, “How do you want to do this?”

Tammy told Bertha, “I want you to fix it up, so that Tracey could meet Fred, and if he likes her, the rest will be like taking cake from a baby.”

So Bertha contacted her girl and explained to her what was going down and what she wanted her to do. Tracey said, “Cool, I got it. You just give me the information, and I will take care of the rest.”

Fred worked as a WPS driver. He carried very important mail for different law firms but would often hang out at a spot called Jingle’s where they have the female dancers. Tracey got all dressed up looking like she just stepped off the Hollywood bus. When she stepped into Jingle’s, the men were looking at her, as well as the women, but she had her eyes set on one thing and that was finding Fred, for she had a picture of him in her handbag.

Tracey spotted Fred at the bar talking to some trick, and just as she was about to make her move, some guy came up and asked her to dance, and she made sure that she would dance where Fred would see her. And as she danced in a very sexy way, she caught Fred’s eye. She walked over to the bar and sat two seats down from Fred, and he walked over and asked her could he buy her a drink. Tracey said yes.

He asked her, “Is this seat taken?”

And she told him, “Now it was.”

Fred and Tracey began to talk, and they realized they had a lot in common. Tracey almost forgot she was there to do a job on this brother. As they talked, he started telling her about his girlfriend Tanisha and what that bitch Tammy did to her and what she took from him. Tracey told him that she was sorry to hear that and that in time, things would get better, while thinking to herself, I am going to be your worst nightmare.

As the night went on, they danced and had a couple more drinks. Then Tracey said she was hungry, so Fred said, “Great, so am I. Would you like to get something to eat?”

Tracey said, “That would be great.”

Fred took her to Red Lobster. Tracey was thinking to herself, This brother knows how to treat a lady, but I know I must stay focused and remember what I’m here for. Fred wined and dined Tracey, and this went on for almost a year. Fred was so happy, he felt he had found someone to fill the whole that was in his heart.

One night, after going to a movie and dinner, Fred and Tracey were lying in the bed, and Fred told her that he was in love with her and that she was everything he wanted in a woman. Tracey told him that she felt the same way, but she was afraid to tell him because she wasn’t sure he felt the same way. Fred told Tracey that he had special plans for them the weekend, and before he could finish, Tracey told him that she had to go out of town to see her mother, that she was not doing well. Fred said okay and that he would go with her.

Tracey said, “No, I would rather wait until my mother is feeling better, then I will let you meet her.”

So Fred said, “Okay, I understand.”

And he asked her was she okay and did she need some money. And before Tracey could answer, Fred put three hundred dollars in her hand and told her to call him. Tracey said okay, and the next morning, she left Fred’s place. She drove to the prison to let Bertha and Tammy know what was going on, for they had not heard anything from her for over six months. Tracey informed Bertha that things were going as planned and that Fred told her last night that he loved her and that she was everything that he needed in a woman.

Bertha said, “That is great, okay. Tammy has a visit. She will be out shortly.”

So Tammy came out, and Tracey informed Tammy the same information that she told Bertha.

Tammy said, “Good, things are going great. I want you to play him like a harp for a little longer. Then I want you to tell him that you’re pregnant. Does he know where you live?”

Tracey said, “No, he thinks I live with Monique.”

“That’s good. After you tell him that you’re pregnant, I need you to contact Bertha, and I will take it from there. But once you tell him you’re pregnant, you are to never see him again. To him, you will be dead. And I want Monique to contact him with the news in person because I want to know the pain that he will suffer.”

Tracey said, “Okay, it’s done.”

“Thanks, girl. When all this is over, I got your back. Friends to the end.”

Tracey told Tammy, “No problem, but you know regardless of what happens with you and Fred, I think he is a nice guy, and if things were different, well, you know what I mean.” Tracey smiled and walked away.

Tammy replied, “Yes, I know what you mean.”

Tracey called Fred and told him that she was just checking in. Fred asked her how her mother was doing. She told him that her mother was doing okay, and before Fred could ask her anything else about her mother, Tracey told him that she would be back in town tomorrow and that they needed to talk. Fred asked her if everything was okay. Tracey said, “I hope so.”

Well, Tracey told him that she loved him and that she would see him tomorrow. She hated the fact that she would not see Fred anymore after tomorrow, but she knew she had a job to do, and she thought about what Bertha would have done to her if she didn’t. She used the money that Fred gave her to visit her mother and brought grocery because she wanted to fix Fred a nice meal and make that night a night to remember because after tomorrow, she would be dead to Fred.

She arrived at his place about 5:00 p.m. Fred was not there. He was still working. He called her; she informed him that she was at his place. Fred said, “Great, I’m running late, but I will see you soon.”

When Fred arrived home, Tracey was in the kitchen; he heard music playing. Fred went into the kitchen; he kissed Tracey like he had not seen her in a year; it was a very passionate kiss. He told her, “Baby, I’m so glad that you’re back. I missed you.”

She looked at him and said, “I missed you also,” and she smiled.

Fred and Tracey had dinner, and then, they made love all night; they made love in the shower, in the living room, and even on the kitchen table. It was a night she would never forget. While lying in the bed, Tracey told Fred, “I have something to tell you. I have not been feeling my best. I’ve been feeling sick a lot lately, and my period is late, so I got a home pregnancy test. Well, I’m pregnant.”

Fred laid there for a couple of minutes saying nothing. Tracey turned over to face Fred, and she saw a tear rolling down his face. He just hugged her and smiled. “Tracey, you don’t know what those words mean to me, baby. Thank you.”

Fred was so happy, and suddenly, out of the blue, he got up out of the bed, butter ball naked, got down on one knee, and asked Tracey to marry him. She was shocked; she was not expecting that, and she didn’t know what to say. Fred told her, “I have not been this happy since Tanisha,” and that’s when reality kicks back in for Tracey.

She smiled and said, “Yes, baby, I will marry you.”

Tracey was pissed. How he could propose to her and then mention another bitch’s name? She laid there the rest of the night, thinking about what he said to her; then she wanted revenge on his ass also and thinking how she could add a little juice to the fire. Then it came to her; she was going to ask Tammy if she could have a little more time with him because she was going to introduce him to a world he only heard about.

When she left Fred that morning, she told him that she loved him and that she would see him later. She went out, brought some cocaine, then she went back to the prison that weekend to see Bertha and informed her on what went down. She told Bertha, “I want him to lose everything that he has so give me another month. I want to get him hooked on cocaine. I want him to lose his job and everything else before he finds out that I am dead. I’m going to mix the cocaine in his drinks to get him hooked.”

Bertha told Tracey, “I love it, and I think Tammy will also.”

Bertha went back to the cell and told Tammy what Tracey wanted to do. Tammy said that sounded good to her. “I will give her a month, then I want it to be over.”

Tracey continued to see Fred. She saw him every day, and she would always fix his drinks for him E&J with coke. She would meet him at the door with a smile and a drink. Well, that went on for about a month; it got to the point that Fred would be late for work, or he wouldn’t show up at all.

One day, he came in from work; he was high; he had a couple of drinks on his way in. She asked him what was going on. He told her he was good, and he asked her to fix him a drink, and she did just that, and they made love all night. Tracey admitted to herself that the sex was even better with a dose of cocaine. He wanted to make love all night; his tongue was all over her body like a wet sponge.

That morning before he left for work, he asked her to fix him a drink. He needed a drink to help him get through the day. Tracey asked him, “Are you okay?”

He said, “Yes, I just feel a little shaky, but I’m good.”

She told him, “You should not drink before work, and you’re going to be late.”

“I’m good. One drink won’t hurt anything.”

She fixed him a drink with an extra dose. Fred was two hours late for work. When he reported in, his boss called him into the office, looked at him, and asked him was he okay. He said sure, but he wasn’t. He looked high. His boss asked him to take a drug test.

“A drug test? I’m not on drugs.”

But he knew he had to prove to his boss that he wasn’t on drugs. He was sent to the lab; he took the test. The nurse told him to report back to work with no explanation. When he got back to the job, his boss informed him that his urine was dirty. There was a high dose of cocaine in his system and that they would have to let him go. Fred was pissed. He said the test was wrong; he didn’t do drugs and that they need to do the test over.

He left the job and went home. He called Tracey and told her what happened with him at work and that he was going to get him a lawyer and sue them because someone had made a mistake. He asked her what time she was coming over because he needed her. Tracey told him, “I will be over about seven o’clock p.m.” She told him that she loved him and that she knows everything will be okay try not to worry. Before she hung up the phone, she said, “I love you, Fred. Goodbye, baby.”

Well, Tracey’s job was done. She called Monique and told her what was going on. She told her, When Fred contact you looking for me, just tell him that you haven’t heard from me all day. I want you to go over to Fred’s place. Tell Fred that I was killed last night in a car accident and that I was on my way to his house. After you leave Fred, call me. I want to know the entire details. Okay, girl?”

Monique said, “Okay, girl. I’m down.”

For Monique was a hood rat just like Bertha and Tracey. This was a game to them, and they enjoyed every moment of it. It was just like clockwork. Fred called Monique about ten o’clock. He told Monique who he was and that he was trying to get in touch with Tracey. She was to meet up with him at his place at seven o’clock. He was concerned because he hadn’t heard anything from her.

Monique told him, “I have not talked with Tracey all day, but as soon as she contacts me, I will let you know.”

Fred was worried; he just felt something wasn’t right, and this was not like Tracey not to call if something was wrong and not to show up. Fred continued drinking all night, and he continued calling Tracey’s phone, but it went straight to voice mail. He fell asleep on the sofa; then about eight o’clock that morning, someone was knocking on the door. He answered. It was Monique. She asked him could she come in. He let her enter and asked what was going on?

She told him, “I wanted to come by and tell you this in person. Tracey was killed last night in a car accident. A car hit her head-on. She was on her way over here.”

Fred dropped to the floor and cried like a baby. He was lost in pain, and he said, “No, not again.”

Monique said, “I will keep you informed,” and she left.

Fred lost his job, then his girl in the same week. Then he really started drinking heavy, but when the alcohol didn’t give him that high he wanted, he went out, brought him some cocaine, and spent his days getting high; nothing else mattered to him anymore, for he had lost everything that mattered to him. When his money ran out, he started writing bad checks just to support his habit until he got busted. He went to prison for seven years.

When Tammy found out that her plan worked and that Fred got everything he deserved for breaking her heart, she felt good because now, he felt what she had felt. That everything she had and loved was gone. Bertha told Tammy that Fred dropped to the floor and cried like a baby. She also informed her that her boy was locked up. That he got hooked on cocaine, started writing bad checks, and now, he is serving time. Tammy sat down and wrote a letter to Fred, and she was sure that he would get this one, and it wouldn’t be returned to her. She told Fred in two sentences, “Sorry for your loss, but now, you know how I felt fifteen months ago. Time served and paid in full.” But Tammy knew she wasn’t finished with Fred yet. Tammy sent the letter to her sister Lula and asked her to mail it to him because she was still in love with him and that he wouldn’t accept mail from her. Lula agreed and mailed the letter to the prison for her. Mail called, Fred got his mail and read the note. All he said was, “That little bitch.”
