Grammy and Dove Award-winning musician, Mylon Le Fevre is widely recognized by music historians as one of
the most influential forerunners to the Contemporary Christian Music genre. He was born into the legendary gospel-
singing family, The Le Fevres. When Mylon was 17 years old, his first song, “Without Him,” was recorded by Elvis
Presley. Over the next year, 126 artists recorded Mylon’s songs. At 19 years old he made his first album and has sold
millions since then. His highly acclaimed 1969 album, “We Believe” on Cotillion Records, was the first ever to be
released by a Christian rock band on a major secular label.
In 2004, Mylon was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Life Christian University. In 2005, he was inducted into
the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame and in 2007; he was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.
Today he is a nationally known speaker and teacher of the Word of God. He and his wife, Christi, travel together
internationally, ministering in churches, revivals, rallies and crusades. They make their home in Fort Worth, Texas.
