When we return from Sacred Mountain (the traditional name given to the spot where we do a PurposeQuest), we help one another to learn from the experience in order to identify our unique purpose. We will know when we have it, because it will enter us. We will incorporate it (which literally means ‘to bring into the body').

Such an inspirational breakthrough has a certainty about it – a knowingness. It is usually characterized by its simplicity. We may feel that it is something that at some level we knew all along – like the Sufi mystic's moustache, it was right under our nose!

The incorporation process continues unfolding after our quest. Traditionally, a year later, we return to the spot where we undertook our quest to look at the extent to which our purpose has moved from an external aspiration to a state of oneness between who we are and what we do. This gives us a chance to marvel at how we have become one with our purpose and to appreciate what it means to stand in our magic.
