ОглавлениеMonster in the mirror
When I look into the mirror
I don’t see beautiful blue eyes,
Instead its cold glass shows me
My unheard screams and cries.
When I look into the mirror
I don’t see a pretty face,
Instead its cold glass shows me
My dull eyes and a blank space.
When I look into the mirror
I don’t see boney hips,
Instead its cold glass shows me
My fat and hidden ribs.
When I look into the mirror
I don’t see skinny thighs,
Instead its cold glass shows me
My dark secrets and lies.
When I look into the mirror
I don’t see starving for weeks,
Instead its cold glass shows me
My broad shoulders and chubby cheeks.
When I look into the mirror
I don’t see some fading scars,
Instead its cold glass shows me
My bleeding wounds and many flaws.
When I look into the mirror
I don’t see a fake smile,
Instead its cold glass shows me
My broken mask fading for a while.
When I look into the mirror
I don’t know what to see,
Is this who I really am
Or who I pretend to be?
