Creating Democracy Within War

War races through my eyes, and flows into my mind

Creating a democracy is what I must find

I see the changes to the people over time

I can hear the bells of liberty and freedom chime

The fighter awakens in my mind

The mental seeds of freedom, people will find

I face a villain, on the hunt for my very soul

Chasing me through my mind taking its toll

I am relentless within my pursuit

I fight the color of war crimes at the root

I feel your pain, as you do mine

Emotions within the solders actions divine

The flavor left behind is love and trust

What folly for a fight I must

A place to create happiness at a fast pace

Happy tears rolling down my thin face

A place created to be empowered with grace

An action created to save face

A place created through time and space

Created for faith to lead the human race

I am a warrior on the battlefield of life

A warrior fighting to go home to his wife

I fight a battle creating freedom and liberty that bind

I fight with love helping the children by being kind

I kiss the salty tears rolling on my face

I kiss my soul; the memories in my mind I chase

I remember touching hearts and their embrace

For now in my mind, my memories kiss my face

I fight on the battlefields of fear

Feeling your words like a cheer

Fight I must with no fear

My silent warrior tells me within my ear

The time has come, like an eagle learning to fly

I see the democracy in your eye

You are the happy one I see

For I am fighting for liberty to help you be free

I hear the guns go bang in my head

I heard the liberty bell ring once, for all the dead

The time is now and the vision of work is clear
