As individuals we each have the ability to perceive the world slightly differently from others. Information that we collect in our minds slowly builds those perceptions into whatever suits our way of interpreting the world. We are helped and hindered in our process of learning by academics, who interpret their findings slightly differently from how we ourselves may.

For instance, if we find graffiti on a wall, we would not dream that the person who put it there actually built the wall. Yet when Egyptologists find Egyptian hieroglyphs on the walls of pyramids, they automatically assume the Egyptians built them. The Sphinx, according to Egyptologists, was built around the same time as the pyramids. Yet John West, a self taught Egyptologist, recently discovered that the weathering on the Sphinx is water weathering. The kind of rain needed for this type of weathering to occur has not fallen in the region for about 11,000 years.

When an old campfire is found near ancient monuments such as Stonehenge or Avebury, and the fire is dated to 4,000 years ago, do you conclude that the people who lit the fire placed the stones there? Archaeologists do. In many cases, carbon dating is used to date objects found near these sites. Carbon dating is gradually being proved unreliable. This in turn will change evidence, and hence change our perceptions.

I have noticed throughout my life that scientists change some of their ideas about every ten years. So what we are being told today may not be true in ten years’ time. When I was at school we were taught that the Earth came from the Sun. Twenty years ago the Big Bang theory was accepted. Now scientists believe in a collection of gases. When will they ever be right? The answer has to be never. All that scientists, and especially physicists, can have are opinions based on knowledge at that moment in time, and I include myself in this.

As yet, the study of crop formations and UFOlogy is not a science. Therefore, although some scientists may be looking into these phenomena, they cannot be seen to be doing so by their fraternity. Behind the scenes, work is being carried out and some questions are being answered. We may still have a long way to go. Who knows?

However, I do not believe anyone can spend 12 years, as I have, studying crop formations and the UFO phenomenon, without forming strong opinions on the whole subject, although the trial – as it were – is still ongoing, and the evidence still coming in. One conclusion I have come to is that if you wish to know all that is going on around you on this planet, you are the only one that can get to the truth. You as an individual have much work to do. You have many books to read, many lectures to visit, and should have a truly open mind to begin with. You will have to listen to much misinformation, but be able to siphon off small pieces of good information that will, from time to time, be hidden there within it. There will be people paid by governments and private individuals that will come forward as though to help, but with other motives. There will also be the glory seekers, in it for 15 minutes of fame. Government bodies will try to keep us from the truth. Our only chance of winning that truth is for the believers to become the majority.
