PREFACE

I can't believe God who has endowed us with super senses, reason, and superior intellect has intended us to forgo their use in analyzing his scriptures. Galileo Galilei

While writing about the sages of antiquity, I was aware of the readership and challenges that I had to face. First and foremost was how to let humanity know about the sages who discovered the so-called modern day findings and beyond. These sages had no religion. They belonged to humanity, belonged to the Vedic Period (before 4500 years) and were followers of the Vedas (Wisdom of God). A book about the challenges and triumphs of the modern quest for the deepest laws of nature is not something one can imagine from a novice of the modern day. This book takes on such the abstract subject with the intention of emphasizing the modern science discovered long ago by ancient sages located in Bharat (modern day India), Tibet, parts of Burma, Pakistan, and parts of China.

It is hard to break pre-existing beliefs and knowledge which we have gained in our schools and colleges or have been spoon-fed since birth. While reading, I request readers to withhold judgment and continue with the journey step-by-step to know real Vedic dharma (A true religion of humanity), otherwise called the Wisdom of Rishis, and explored by sages of antiquity. This might cater to an even smaller audience, but this doesn’t particularly bother me.

I told myself frequently, and no doubt with a touch of melodrama, if I reached one person and that one person can get the message that I want to convey, I will consider my hard work a success. If the message I introduce brings readers to a new spectrum of ideas, a new way of thinking about themselves and their ancestors and their place in this cosmos, that will be enough. This is true whether it is a young student trying to decide on a direction of study, a young professional and student of science, or an old scholar. It will have food for all of humanity.

A perception that the Law of Gravitation and others, were discovered by Newton et al, will be debunked. If I am able to help guide readers toward views of the sages who stated the complex theories of physics and inventions well before modern science is re-finding them now, I will feel I have succeeded. These thoughts, at the very least, helped me through the demanding times that many authors encounter in the midst of writing their projects.

Without wasting further time and words, let me take you through the journey of the sages of antiquity. Most of my views are blessed by the ancient sages and the last sage, Rishi Dayanad Saraswati, while some are from my personal experience. So far, such views have not been explained or provided in one single book. At any point, criticism can turn into appreciation. As this book is based on reasoning, I expect all of the readers to know the four subsidiary means of reasoning:

•Listening or reading attentively with a calm mind to the lectures of a learned man, and more so if the subject is Divine Science, because it is the most abstruse and subtle of all the sciences.

•Thinking over what one has heard or read in retirement, and removing doubts if there be any by questioning the speaker. Questions may sometimes be asked even in the middle of a discourse, if the speaker and the audience think proper.

•Rationalizing is the next step. When all doubts are cleared after hearing or reading a discourse and thinking over it, let the inquirer take thought and see for himself by the help of yoga (self-realization through meditation) whether it is the same as he had heard and reasoned out or not.

•The result is the correct knowledge of the nature, properties and characteristics of the desired object.

“One who does not reason is Zealot; One who cannot is fool; one who dares not is religious Slave”. George Gordon Brown

The following concepts are introduced for the first time in recorded human history:

•Unified Theory of Creation

•Karma: A new approach

•Concept of Prana

•Journey of the Soul

•What is Space?

“One person suffering with delusion is called insanity, when many suffers it is called religion” Robert M. Pirsig

I, 'Bharat' came up with this book after realizing the Supreme Psychic Consciousness (SPC). With the level of pain and misery engulfing this planet; with so much killing and hatred of each other, in the name of God, my soul pushed me to come up with this book. I have written this book because the God of Hinduism, Christianity, Islam and other existing religions is not doing anything to prevent disease, killing of people and animals, and destruction of the planet.

I have seen infants, fathers and mothers starving. Women go into prostitution just for sake of money. Cows are killed once they stop giving milk. There is so much hatred among followers of the various religions. How can one follow such a God who does not act to eliminate such horrors? All of these questions have pushed me to write ‘THE CURE FOR GOD’S EPIDEMIC’.

I consider all great people, such as Ram, Krishna, Jesus and the Prophet Muhammad as human beings of highest order. This book is intended to provoke thought about one's existing belief system. Though I have written this for my Hindu friends, as I was born Hindu, I consider that the book has good wisdom for those who practice Islam or Christianity, as well. I request readers to receive the concepts in the book with an open mind and consider them as a starting point for further spiritual growth.

It is not my aim to hurt the sentiments or feelings of any person. If it should happen, it is unintentional and I apologize. I take blessings from Ram, Krishna, Jesus and the Prophet Muhammad who are my role models in writing this book.

I encourage everyone to read this book and challenge there thinking.
